As a Charge Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our labor and delivery unit, providing exceptional patient care, and supporting the well-being of our nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the Labor and Delivery team, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient unit operations.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes and staff satisfaction.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Provide guidance and support to nursing staff, promoting professional development and growth.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based solutions.
- Current RN licensure in the state of employment.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing, with a focus on leadership and management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
