Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and families, providing individualized care and support throughout the labor and delivery process.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients in the labor and delivery unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, and fetal heart rate.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and families throughout the labor and delivery process.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Kansas or Missouri.
  • Experience in labor and delivery nursing preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
