Insurance Sales Agent Opportunity

Meletia Agency is seeking a motivated and driven Independent Insurance Sales Agent to join our team. As an Insurance Sales Agent, you will be responsible for promoting and selling various insurance products to prospective clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Prospect and Generate Leads: Utilize your network and various sales techniques to generate leads and build relationships with potential clients.
  2. Needs Analysis and Recommendations: Conduct thorough needs analysis to understand clients' insurance requirements and recommend appropriate coverage options.
  3. Insurance Product Education: Educate clients on various insurance products, explaining coverage details, benefits, and exclusions.
  4. Customized Insurance Solutions: Provide tailored recommendations and quotes to meet the individual needs of clients.
  5. Relationship Building and Follow-up: Nurture relationships with leads and clients, addressing concerns and overcoming objections.
  6. Collaboration and Communication: Work with underwriters and other team members to expedite the application and approval process.
  7. Industry Knowledge and Staying Current: Stay informed about industry trends, product updates, and regulatory changes to maintain a competitive edge.
  8. Performance Metrics and Sales Targets: Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics established by the company.
  9. Record Keeping and CRM: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and transactions using CRM software or other tracking systems.
Qualifications:
  • Proven Sales Track Record: Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
  • Self-Motivation and Results-Oriented: Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a drive to succeed in a commission-based environment.
  • Independence and Time Management: Ability to work independently and manage time effectively, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • CRM Proficiency: Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to track leads and manage customer relationships.
  • Active Insurance License: Active insurance license in the required state(s) is necessary.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
