Join Our Team as a Caregiver

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at The Waters Senior Living. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents.

About the Role

As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing personal care services, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transferring, and other care as designated. You will also assist residents in dining, provide homemaking tasks, and respond to and report changes in resident's health status and/or any recommendations for changes that should be made to the resident plan of care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care services, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transferring, and other care as designated
  • Assist residents in dining
  • Provide homemaking tasks
  • Respond to and report changes in resident's health status and/or any recommendations for changes that should be made to the resident plan of care
  • Complete thorough daily charting
  • Work well with a team to provide a caring environment
  • Block schedules - you'll know what to expect
  • Work is performed in a lovely community
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • High-school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • One year nursing/resident assistant care experience in senior services preferred
  • Ability to read, write, speak and follow verbal directions in English
  • Basic computer skills with experience or ability to learn electronic health record systems
  • Possess compassion for and commitment to hospitality, service, and excellence in senior care
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Ability to be flexible with hours'/shift schedules and assignments
