About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Patient-Centered Care: Deliver compassionate and individualized care to patients with mental health conditions, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
  • Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
  • Conduct Risk Assessments: Identify and mitigate risks associated with patient care, including suicidal ideation, violence, and self-harm.
  • Develop and Implement Treatment Plans: Create and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Provide Education and Support: Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and self-management strategies.
  • Participate in Quality Improvement Initiatives: Contribute to quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Experience: Minimum two years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a psychiatric or mental health setting.
  • Licensure: Current Registered Nurse license in the state of Oregon or Washington.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Pediatric Advanced Emergency Assessment, Recognition, and Stabilization (PEARS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Population Care/Case Management: Previous experience with population care and case management.
  • Computerized Information Systems: Minimum two years of experience working with computerized information systems.
  • Dual Diagnosis Population: Previous experience working with patients with dual diagnosis.
