The selected candidate will contribute to the Deep Space Logistics (DSL) Program, delivering SharePoint development and maintenance support for both standard and tailored solutions using Microsoft SharePoint platforms.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct requirements analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and ongoing maintenance for an on-premises SharePoint environment with various site collections.
  • Transform business and technical requirements into actionable plans and innovative UI/UX designs.
  • Create custom forms and workflows utilizing SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio Code, and Nintex workflows.
  • Enhance and personalize the SharePoint on-premises experience through JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, and other technologies such as AG Grid and Apache ECharts.
  • Develop web parts, sites, lists, libraries, content types, and site columns while applying custom master pages.
  • Manage permissions in line with strict governance policies.
  • Update documentation, processes, and knowledge bases as necessary.
  • Collaborate with both infrastructure teams and end-users throughout the system lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment and support.
  • Ensure compliance with all requirements and design decisions according to established policies.
  • Engage in continuous learning and exploration of new technologies to enhance UI/UX.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or Computer Science (equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in SharePoint and web development.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with SharePoint Designer.
  • Familiarity with Power BI and Power Automate.
  • Proficient in Visual Studio Code.
  • Strong understanding of taxonomy and metadata.
  • Experience in a structured, process-oriented environment including change management and incident ticketing.
  • Knowledge of Atlassian JIRA and Visio for diagram creation.
