Key Responsibilities- Manage daily operations for the first shift, leading a team of 25 staff members.
- Coordinate, plan, and direct all activities involved in the production process.
- Report directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO).
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in manufacturing management.
- Strong knowledge of process improvement methodologies, particularly statistical techniques.
- Experience in a machine shop environment, specifically within the aerospace industry.
- Familiarity with ISO standards and ITAR compliance.
- Proficiency in using dimensional tools such as calipers, micrometers, and CMM machines.
- Excellent mathematical, computer, and communication skills.
- Six Sigma certification (Black Belt or Green Belt) is preferred.
- A Bachelor's degree is preferred, along with 5 to 7 years of experience in a job shop setting.
- A strong quality assurance background is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Ability to manage information for quarterly executive board meetings.
