Production Assembler III - MTO Specialist
Position Overview
As a Production Assembler III in our MTO department, you will play a crucial role in the comprehensive process of window assembly.
Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace at all times.
- Handle and maintain all machinery within the MTO department.
- Construct jigs and fixtures to assist colleagues in successful unit assembly.
- Offer innovative solutions for the assembly of custom windows and doors as required.
- Collaborate effectively with R&D, Special Projects, Architectural teams, and others to finalize intricate window and door constructions.
- Mentor fellow operators to enhance their skills in MTO assembly.
- Provide leadership and direction to a team in a dynamic work environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Previous experience in a woodworking role is advantageous.
- Strong skills in woodworking and the ability to construct products from technical drawings.
- Capability to interpret window work orders and schematics for accurate assembly.
- Ability to work independently with a commitment to quality and precision.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for training and cross-training team members.
- Familiarity with Marvin's window and door systems is preferred.
- Adaptability and enthusiasm to thrive in a constantly evolving work environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to work across various functions.
- Meticulous attention to detail and adherence to quality standards are essential.
