We offer a balanced work-life environment with flexible scheduling, ensuring no night or weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clinical Evaluation and Diagnosis:
    • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments to identify mental health disorders.
    • Employ evidence-based diagnostic methodologies.
  • Treatment Strategy Development:
    • Create personalized treatment plans that may include medication management, psychotherapy, and other therapeutic modalities.
    • Track patient progress and modify treatment strategies as needed.
  • Medication Oversight:
    • Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, ensuring their appropriate application and monitoring for potential side effects.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Engage with the multidisciplinary team, including Primary Care Providers, Infectious Disease Specialists, Social Workers, and Pharmacists.
    • Formulate detailed individualized care plans through collaborative decision-making.
    • Participate in team meetings to enhance care coordination.
  • Patient Education:
    • Provide informative resources to patients and their families regarding mental health issues and available treatment options.
    • Facilitate consultations and referrals to improve behavioral health outcomes.
  • Documentation and Compliance:
    • Ensure timely and accurate medical record-keeping.
    • Complete necessary documentation for patient care.
  • Leadership of Behavioral Health Team:
    • Oversee the behavioral health team, focusing on program development and assessing relevant outcome measures.
Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) with a focus in Psychiatry.
  • Valid Georgia medical license for Psychiatry practice.
  • Board certification in Psychiatry.
  • Current DEA registration.
  • BLS certification.
  • Preferred experience in integrated healthcare settings.
  • 2-3 years of psychiatric prescribing experience in a clinical environment.
  • Familiarity with integrated care models and multidisciplinary treatment approaches.
  • Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Capacity to adapt to a dynamic and results-driven environment.
  • Proficient clinical skills in psychiatric evaluation and treatment.
