About the Role

The Emory Clinic is seeking a Geriatric Psychiatrist to join a dynamic team of clinicians, educators, and researchers dedicated to delivering high-quality care in an innovative environment. Our mission focuses on developing new treatments and training the next generation of psychiatrists.

Responsibilities
  • Provide psychiatric care to new patients
  • Supervise fellows, residents, and medical students
  • Conduct quality assessments
  • Attend case conferences
  • Participate in administrative and educational meetings
  • Engage in research, including clinical studies, quality improvement initiatives, and the development of evidence-based practices and specialty treatments
Requirements

Minimum qualifications include an MD or DO degree, completion of a four-year psychiatry residency, and a geriatric psychiatry fellowship. Candidates must hold or be eligible for a medical license in the State of Georgia and must be board certified or board eligible.
