Position Overview:
Lube Technicians play a crucial role in maintaining the operational efficiency of our vehicle fleet. They are tasked with conducting preventive maintenance, which includes minor repairs and adjustments to various vehicle systems and components.


Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday
Hours: 4:00 pm - 6:00 am

Key Responsibilities:


1. Execute preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles in adherence to all relevant regulations and company protocols.
2. Conduct inspections, lubrication, and servicing of vehicles according to established maintenance schedules.
3. Apply grease, oil, and lubricants to vehicle components during maintenance procedures.
4. Monitor and replenish fluids and filters as necessary for all vehicles.
5. Assess vehicle support systems, including electrical, air, and brake systems.
6. Perform minor repairs and adjustments on various vehicle systems and components.
7. Collaborate with senior technicians on maintenance tasks and repairs.
8. Identify and address worn or malfunctioning components, including leaks.
9. Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools, materials, and work areas.
10. Complete administrative tasks as required, such as inventory counts and parts requisitions.
11. Ensure all safety equipment on vehicles is functional.
12. Assist in other areas of the maintenance shop as needed.
13. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and parts usage using digital tools.
14. May require travel for training or business needs.
15. Perform additional duties as assigned.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. General understanding of vehicle components and systems.
2. Capability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting over 50 lbs and performing various physical tasks.
3. Strong mechanical aptitude with a foundational knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair.
4. Proficiency in using computers and reading repair manuals and electrical diagrams for troubleshooting.
5. Ability to safely operate vehicles in and out of service areas.
6. Effective written and verbal communication skills for professional interactions.
7. Possession of necessary tools for assigned tasks.
8. Willingness to work in diverse weather conditions.

Working Conditions:
1. Potential exposure to high traffic and tight driving environments.
2. Exposure to various waste materials.
3. Flexibility to travel between locations as needed.
4. Availability for overtime, weekends, and holidays.
5. Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
6. Valid driver's license required (if applicable).
7. Successful completion of pre-employment assessments is mandatory.
8. Proficiency in reading and speaking English is essential.
