Job Title: Donation Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Donation Attendant to join our team at The Salvation Army in Hesperia. As a key member of our donation processing team, you will be responsible for ensuring that donated items are properly received, sorted, and processed in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and process donations from donors, ensuring that all items are properly sorted and stored.
  • Operate a forklift or pallet jack to move donations to designated areas.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety and sanitation standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service to donors, responding to their inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
