Donation Attendant

Job Summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Donation Attendant to join our team at our Hesperia location. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized donation trailer, assisting donors, and ensuring a smooth donation process.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean the donation trailer and surrounding area
• Assist donors in the receipt of donated items and provide receipts
• Separate and sort donated materials into proper containers
• Assist with loading donations onto trucks
• Inform supervisor of needed items and maintain reports and paperwork
• Secure and lock the donation trailer at the end of each shift

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Ability to communicate effectively with fellow employees and donors
• Ability to read and write and understand and follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis
• Ability to grasp, push, pull objects up to 75lbs. with or without assistance
