We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Extern Float Pool to join our team at Mission Hospital. As a Nurse Extern, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient-centered care by performing delegated basic patient care services related to common nursing functions and activities of daily living.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the nursing staff in providing patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN)
  • Perform a variety of delegated basic patient care services related to common nursing functions and activities of daily living
  • Consistently assist the patient care team with maintaining a clean, well-organized, and safe patient care environment
Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled and in good standing in an accredited school of nursing
  • Preferred: 1+ years of nursing school completed or as mandated by state of practice
  • Required: Current listing with Nurse Aide Registry as a Nurse Aide I
  • Required: BLS certification
