We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Extern Float Pool to join our team at Mission Hospital. As a Nurse Extern, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the growth and development of our colleagues.

Job Summary

The Nurse Extern Float Pool is responsible for providing delegated basic patient care services related to common nursing functions and activities of daily living. Under the supervision of the registered nurse (RN), you will assist the nursing staff in providing patient care in accordance with your skills/training and the needs of the Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care by performing delegated basic patient care services
  • Assist the nursing staff in providing patient care in accordance with your skills/training and the needs of the Department
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean, well-organized, and safe patient care environment
  • Work collaboratively with the patient care team to achieve excellent patient outcomes
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled and in good standing in an accredited school of nursing
  • Preferred: 1+ years of nursing school completed, or as mandated by state of practice
  • Required: Current listing with Nurse Aide Registry as a Nurse Aide I
  • Required: BLS certification
