Water/Wastewater Project Manager Job Description

Jobot is seeking a highly skilled Water/Wastewater Project Manager to join our team of innovative engineers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and leading water and wastewater projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and lead water and wastewater projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and high-quality standards.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, scientists, and technical staff, to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Utilize AutoCAD to create detailed design plans and specifications for water and wastewater projects.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost estimates for proposed projects.
  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies, maintaining open and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues or delays, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry best practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional engineering (PE) license is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the water/wastewater engineering industry, with a proven track record of successful project management.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software.
  • Strong knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes, design standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and deliver projects on time.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • A problem-solving mindset, with the ability to tackle complex engineering challenges and find innovative solutions.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
