Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team at The Salvation Army Coatesville Corps. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our Corps Officers, greeting customers and staff, and performing various clerical duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to Corps Officers, including scheduling appointments and maintaining records
  • Greet customers and staff, and direct incoming calls and mail
  • Maintain office supply inventory and perform other clerical duties as assigned
  • Assist with scheduling Christmas interviews and maintaining records
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Bilingual (English-Spanish) preferred
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of computers, Microsoft Word, and general office procedures
  • Must have an understanding and appreciation of The Salvation Army's mission
  • Must provide proof of having completed training on recognizing and reporting child abuse within 30 days of employment
