Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cytotechnologist to join our team at K.A. Recruiting. As a Cytotechnologist, you will be responsible for examining and evaluating gynecological and non-gynecological specimens using microscopic techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct quality and productive microscopic examinations of specimens for the diagnosis of malignant and pre-malignant conditions
  • Assist with fine needle aspiration collection and NGYN and FNA screening
  • Participate in proficiency testing and continuing education to maintain expertise
  • Keep accurate daily workload records in accordance with CLIA '88
Requirements
  • Completion of a cytotechnology program from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) school
  • ASCP certification or eligibility required
  • Good interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to attain 90% on an internal proficiency test and maintain 80% proficiency on quarterly GYN CAP mailings
