Job Summary

USA DeBusk, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hydro Blast Technician to join our team. As a key member of our mechanical cleaning services team, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of physical activities that require strength and flexibility of the whole body for handling, positioning, moving, and manipulating equipment and materials, emergency response, vacuum truck operations, waste disposal, site remediation, and high-pressure water blasting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Set Up Cleaning Equipment: Operate and set up all necessary cleaning equipment such as high-pressure pumps, in-service line hydro-blasting, and vacuum, by operational and training guidelines and safety procedures.
  • Adhere to Safety Policies and Practices: Adhere to all safety policies and practices, including but not limited to personal protective gear.
  • Work Safely in Industrial Settings: Ability to work safely in and around heavy machinery in loud, hazardous, and heavy industrial settings.
  • Perform Manual Cleaning and Repair: Manually clean, install, and fit repair valves, caps, hoses, pumps, gaskets, and all other external and internal equipment on tanks.
  • Inspect Equipment and Work Area: Assist in the inspection of equipment, hoses, connections, pumps, and general work area before starting any job. Informs supervisor of deficiencies, which may cause accidents, injuries, or lost productivity.
Requirements
  • Travel Requirements: Must be able to travel for extended periods.
  • Valid Driver's License: Valid driver's license or identification card.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to emergency calls 24 hours, 7 days a week if called upon.
  • Confined Space Work: Ability to work for extended periods within a confined space, in extreme temperature environments, and at high elevations.
  • Training and Procedures: Ability to perform duties by training and standard operating procedures.
  • Specific Procedures: Ability to understand and follow specific procedures and directions.
  • Lifting and Handling: Ability to lift, move and handle up to 50lb hoses.
  • Background Checks: Complete drug screen, pre-employment physical, and all required background checks.
Experience and Qualifications
  • Hydro Blasting Experience: Hydro blasting or pressure cleaning experience is preferred, but not required.
  • General Labor Experience: General labor experience is a plus.
