Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

Pawnee Mental Health Services is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Quality Management Department, you will play a critical role in ensuring high standards of care through the management of incident reports, client grievances, and adherence to quality improvement practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Pawnee's incident reporting system, gathering and reviewing incoming reports, and providing support to the Quality Director.
  • Prepare for the peer review process and take preliminary actions in response to incident reports.
  • Monitor compliance with corrective actions from internal incidents and audits by external bodies.
  • Receive, document, and evaluate concerns and grievances expressed by clients, their family members, and other stakeholders.
  • Investigate reports on provider conduct and other client concerns when assigned.
  • Provide administrative and other support to the Quality Director in areas of quality management involvement.

Requirements:

  • Ability to exercise discretion and confidentiality regarding sensitive and legally confidential matters.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Basic personal computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office Software.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills using the English language.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-3 years of healthcare quality compliance in a CCBHC, CMHS, FQHC, or critical access hospital.
