Cleveland Clinic Medical ICU RN Job Description

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a highly skilled Medical ICU RN to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a Medical ICU RN, you will provide exceptional patient care to critically ill patients, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Monitor and document patient condition, including vital signs, lab results, and medication administration.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Ohio.
  • Minimum one year of experience in a Medical ICU or Critical Care setting.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
