  • Monitor and document patient condition, communicating with the healthcare team as needed.
  • Evaluate and update patient care plans to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes.
  • Coordinate patient care with other disciplines, ensuring well-coordinated care.
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing protocol.
  • Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, addressing cultural and special concerns.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing, with a BSN preferred.
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Proof of Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA) upon hire.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification, if required for the unit.
  • One year of current acute care RN experience in a hospital setting, with experience in the Emergency Department (ED) or Intensive Care Unit (ICU) preferred.
