As a Director of Psychiatry - Addiction Medicine, you will be responsible for providing psychiatric services in a Chemical Dependency/Ambulatory Detox Clinic. Your day-to-day work will involve managing administrative and regulatory aspects of the department, supervising and teaching residents and NP's, and providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide psychiatric services in a Chemical Dependency/Ambulatory Detox Clinic.
  • Manage all administrative and regulatory aspects of the department.
  • Supervise and teach residents and NP's.
Qualifications
  • Must be Board Certified in Addiction Psychiatry.
  • Completion of an approved Psychiatry residency training program in Addiction Medicine.
  • Prior leadership experience with residents and NP's.
  • License to practice medicine in the State of NY.

The compensation package for this position includes an annual base salary of $272,000, based on a 40-hour work week. The total value of the compensation package is estimated at $339,200, which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, and other benefits. The position may also be eligible for loan forgiveness through certain state or federal programs.
