About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Psychiatrist to join our team at Traditions Behavioral Health. As a key member of our psychiatric care team, you will provide exceptional care to patients in our acute inpatient psychiatry and detoxification services.

Responsibilities
  • Provide treatment to adults 18 years of age and older in our ED holding unit
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address psychiatric and chemical dependency needs
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatric residents, to provide comprehensive care
  • Participate in shared rotating night call and work a double coverage schedule
  • Manage a daily caseload of 15 patients per physician
Requirements
  • Board certification in psychiatry (board eligible for new graduates)
  • CA license and DEA registration
  • Ability to work with H1B and J1 Visa holders
