  • Stock and maintain food and supply inventory, ensuring that all areas are clean and sanitized.
  • Interact with nursing staff to ensure accurate patient diet prescriptions and food needs are met.
  • Assist with monitoring patients who are NPO, on liquid diets, or have calorie count ordered.
  • Exhibit a friendly and caring attitude when introducing the Catering to You program, taking menu selections, delivering trays, and retrieving trays.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Possesses necessary skills to effectively operate hospitals admission, discharge, and transfer system and other computer-based systems.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Prior hospital food service experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of modified diet restrictions for patient meal preparation and meal services.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position with rotating shifts. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service to patients, staff, and guests.
