Critical Care Nurse

The Hospitals of Providence is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team. As a critical care nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Respond to code and emergent situations as a team member within the hospital.
- Participate in patient and family teaching, providing education on disease management, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of unit-based policies and procedures.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Texas.
- 2+ years of experience in ICU or critical care nursing.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
