Job Summary

At Summit Orthopedics, we value the contributions of each member of our team as they impact our patients and colleagues every day. We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Admission Unit (SAU) and Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) team at our Vadnais Heights Surgery Center.

This part-time, 0.9 FTE RN opportunity involves working 12-hour shifts, providing primary support at our Vadnais Heights Surgery Center and also covering our on-site Care Suites. Flexibility to float to other Summit Surgery Centers as needed is a plus.

As a Registered Nurse in our SAU/PACU, you will provide skilled nursing assessment, plan and evaluate treatment, and administer appropriate nursing intervention to all patients admitted to the surgery center. You will collect, interpret, document, and communicate patient information in accordance with State and Federal guidelines, rules and regulations applicable to the facility setting.

Summit Orthopedics provides comprehensive orthopedic care, including sub-specialty clinics, walk-in care at our Orthopedic Urgent Care clinics, imaging, bracing, therapy, surgery, and post-surgical stays at our Care Suites. Our team of physicians, surgeons, physician assistants, certified athletic trainers, and therapists work together to provide quality care designed to support a healthier, more active lifestyle.

Qualifications

Bachelors of Nursing (preferred)
Associates of Nursing (required)
1 year acute care experience (required)
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (required)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification (required)
Basic Life Support certification (required)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (required)
Registered Nurse licensure (required)
