Position Details:

We are in search of a dedicated and experienced Permanent Commercial Superintendent. This pivotal role involves overseeing the daily operations of commercial construction projects, ensuring they are executed efficiently and effectively. You will manage subcontractors, uphold quality standards, and ensure compliance with building regulations. Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise all phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion of construction activities.
2. Effectively coordinate with subcontractors to guarantee seamless project progression.
3. Develop and implement project performance metrics, including 3 Week Lookaheads.
4. Ensure construction activities conform to architectural and engineering specifications, adhering to all relevant building and safety codes.
5. Establish and uphold quality control protocols to meet the highest industry standards.
6. Manage contractual agreements, including negotiations and compliance monitoring.
7. Address on-site challenges and emergencies with prompt and effective solutions.
8. Maintain a safe and organized job site, enforcing strict safety regulations.
9. Conduct regular inspections to assess progress and ensure adherence to design specifications and safety standards.
10. Communicate regularly with project stakeholders, providing updates on project status and addressing any concerns professionally.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
2. At least 5 years of experience as a Superintendent or in a comparable role within the construction sector.
3. Expertise in subcontractor and contract management, along with construction oversight.
4. Comprehensive understanding of construction processes, building codes, quality assurance, and safety measures.
5. Proven track record with 3 Week Lookaheads and site management.
6. Strong leadership and project management capabilities.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
8. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
9. Proficient in interpreting blueprints, schematics, and construction documentation.
10. Familiarity with MS Office and construction management software.
11. Valid certification in Occupational Safety and Health, along with a valid driver's license.
