Health Sciences Clinical Instructor/Fellow Position

The University of California, Irvine School of Medicine is seeking a highly qualified candidate for a Health Sciences Clinical Instructor/Fellow position in the Department of Anesthesiology & Perioperative Care. This academic appointment is designed to provide extensive clinical training and opportunities for teaching and research in patient safety, quality improvement, and quality monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for participating in clinical rotations, teaching and mentoring students, and contributing to research projects. The position will also involve leadership in perioperative medicine, medical education simulation, obstetric anesthesiology, and regional anesthesiology and acute pain medicine.
Qualifications
Candidates must possess an M.D. or D.O. degree in the field of Anesthesiology and have a strong background in clinical research and teaching. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
