Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead and coach a team of framers to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and productivity
    • Hold team members accountable for meeting sales and customer service targets
  • Custom Framing Sales
    • Drive custom framing sales by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
    • Develop and maintain relationships with customers to understand their framing needs and preferences
    • Provide expert advice and guidance on framing options and solutions
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
    • Assist customers in creating a memorable framing solution for their art
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage and execute inventory management processes to ensure accurate and efficient inventory levels
    • Monitor and report on inventory levels and trends to inform business decisions
  • Store Operations
    • Assist with store operations, including opening and closing procedures, and maintaining a safe and clean store environment
    • Participate in visual merchandising and store displays to promote framing products and services
Requirements
  • Experience
    • Previous custom framing experience is preferred
    • Retail management experience
    • Experience leading a sales team
  • Skills
    • Basic computer skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales and customer service targets
  • Physical Requirements
    • Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching
    • Ability to move throughout the store
    • Ability to remain standing for long periods of time
    • Lifting heavy boxes and frames and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment
Work Environment
  • Public retail store setting taking care of our customers
  • All public areas are climate controlled
  • Some stock rooms may not be climate controlled
  • Some outdoor work if assigned to retrieve shopping carts or while unloading trucks
