Job Title: Pipefitter

RQC, LLC is seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our self-perform team for ongoing work in Charleston, SC.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly experienced Pipefitter to assemble, install, and plan piping systems on an active construction site. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pipefitting principles and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:
  • Assemble, install, and plan piping systems on an active construction site.
  • Ensure work is done in accordance with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Work with technical application of pipefitting principles.
  • Implement required safety practices in support of RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • 4 or more years of field or trade work experience as a journeyman-level pipefitter.
  • Mechanical Pipe Installation experience.
  • Deep underground experience.
  • Start-up and Energizing Experience (Boilers, Chillers).
  • Valid Pipefitter license or journeyman card.
  • Current Welding certificate.
  • CPR, First Aid, and OSHA-30 hour certifications.
