Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team at PeopleReady Skilled Trades. As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for installing and repairing pipes for various industrial uses. Key Responsibilities
  • Install pipes for various industrial uses, including cutting, threading, and hammering
  • Measure and mark pipes for cutting or threading
  • Cut or bore holes in structures
  • Interpret layouts and follow relevant codes
  • Troubleshoot problems and inspect installed systems or pipelines
  • Bolt and unbolt flanges while ensuring proper placement and fit
  • Use various tools to connect and repair systems
Requirements
  • OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain it
  • Pipefitting certifications, credentials, or training preferred
  • Complete personal tool bag for the job, including protective and safety equipment
  • 5+ years of experience as a Pipefitter in industrial or commercial settings
  • Ability to fit pipe, structural components, or prefabricated building components
  • Ability to cut, prep, and install pipe ranging from 1/2 copper to 36 inches
  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Prior experience in the commercial or industrial mechanical field
  • Prior experience and references
