Job Summary

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Private Duty Nurse LPN to provide high-acuity child care in a home setting. As a member of our care team, you will work closely with patients and their families to deliver personalized care and support.

Responsibilities
  • Implement physician-prescribed plans of care for patients with high acuity needs
  • Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care with healthcare teams
  • Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies as needed
  • Document care provided in a timely and compliant manner
  • Provide health education and training to family members
  • Accept and write verbal orders from physicians as required, with co-signature from Case Manager
  • Follow up with patients, families, and healthcare teams on client problems, concerns, and changes in condition
Requirements
  • Active, unencumbered license (RN/LPN/LVN) in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or BLS
  • TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
  • Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
  • Reliable transportation
