The Truist Securities Summer Associate Program is a 10-week opportunity to gain exposure to various disciplines within investment banking. As a Summer Associate, you will develop financial analysis skills, understand corporate markets and clients, and gain experience in corporate finance and investment banking products through on-the-job training.

Within each group, Summer Associates play a meaningful role in supporting internal and external clients. You will work with senior professionals to identify and evaluate opportunities, meet with and present to prospective clients, and draft internal and external documents and marketing materials utilized in transactions.

As an integral member of the team, you will take a lead role in executing transactions and working with clients, attorneys, investors, interested parties, and other senior professionals on a daily basis. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills are necessary to be effective in this position.

The Summer Associate program provides the opportunity to interact with other groups and disciplines throughout the investment bank. You will participate in activities such as networking socials, case studies and presentations, team-building projects, and an Executive Speaker Series featuring CEO and senior leaders.

Competitive Summer Associates will be eligible to receive an offer to return in full-time positions as part of our Associate program upon graduation. The annual base salary for this position is $175,000.

Truist Securities is headquartered in Atlanta, GA, with offices throughout the U.S. in cities including Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, Nashville, Orlando, New York, San Francisco, and Washington D.C. The majority of Summer Associates will be placed in Atlanta, New York, Charlotte, Houston, or Chicago.

The minimum requirements for this position include an MBA from a leading program with a scheduled graduation of December 2025 – May 2026, a minimum of 3 years of work experience, and the ability to understand complex financial products and desire for significant transaction execution responsibility.

Preferred requirements include a concentration in Finance and previous background in financial services and/or experience as an Analyst. At this time, Truist will not sponsor an applicant for employment authorization, nor will we offer any immigration-related support for this position.
