Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Water Engineer to join our team at Apex Engineering Group. As a key member of our Water Group, you will be responsible for managing a team of engineers, technicians, and support staff on water and/or wastewater projects from planning to design and construction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead a team of engineers, technicians, and support staff on water and/or wastewater projects.
  • Develop and implement project plans and specifications, working collaboratively with project team members.
  • Provide professional engineering services, including studies, planning, design, specifications, plans, reports, construction administration, observation, and project management.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, supervisors, and project team members on project progress and updates.
  • Participate in business development activities, including proposal preparation and client meetings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering required.
  • Professional Engineers License preferred or ability to be licensed within 6-12 months required.
  • 7 or more years of experience working as a Civil Engineer or Environmental Engineer in the water and/or wastewater field.
  • Strong project management skills and experience is essential for this position.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a prerequisite.
