Clinical Dietitian II Job Description

About the Position

Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center is an internationally recognized leader in research and clinical excellence. We are seeking a talented Clinical Dietitian II to join our team.

The successful candidate will work closely with patients, families, and caregivers to develop personalized nutrition plans, improving health and well-being outcomes. This role requires expertise in nutritional assessments, counseling, and education. The ideal candidate will have experience working with patients in complex care settings, including pediatrics, bariatric, and ICU populations.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive nutrition care plans, tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless coordination of care.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families on nutrition-related topics.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • 2+ years of experience in acute hospital settings, working with complex patient populations.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or a related field, with completion of an accredited dietitian program.
  • Valid registration as a Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
  • Dietitian State license in applicable states.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $42.28/hour and a comprehensive benefits package. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is also available with a 2-year commitment.
