Position Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic junior finance professional to become part of our IT ERP Deployment & Governance Team as a Project Financial Analyst, reporting to the Senior Manager of IT - ERP Budget & Spend Management. In this capacity, you will assist in various initiatives within our Global SAP S/4 HANA Transformation by overseeing expenditures and managing governance for substantial investments. You will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders across IT, Finance, and GBS to manage project financials, including actuals allocation and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and sustain cash flow forecasts while monitoring expenditures against capital budget allocations.
  • Track ongoing Year-To-Go (YTG) forecasts and any additional or unbudgeted expenses, discussing these with the Project Manager.
  • Record goods receipts and ensure follow-up on anticipated recharges before the period-end close. Review actuals during the period close to confirm all expected charges are accounted for.
  • Comprehend the intricacies of CapEx, OpEx, and Zero-Based Budgeting (ZBB) in accordance with accounting standards.
  • Submit contracts and statements of work to Procurement for necessary approvals and purchase order processing.
  • Secure approvals for received invoices and facilitate payment processing. Maintain communication with vendors regarding timely invoice submissions.
  • Assist in strategic long-term planning and the subsequent year’s budget preparation.
Qualifications for Success:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong understanding of CapEx and OpEx accounting principles and policies.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining cash flow forecasts.
  • Ability to track actual spending against forecasted budgets and identify variances.
  • Proven capability to meet monthly financial deadlines.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Experience in a large global FMCG organization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of IT systems or experience with SAP, Ariba, and SRM is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Passionate about leading the SAP Central Finance implementation and driving transformational solutions.
