Job Summary

Samaritan's Purse is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Management Team Leader to join our team for a seasonal period. As a key member of our Operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our warehouse, ensuring the efficient processing of shoebox gifts, and providing exceptional leadership to our team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, processing, and shipping of shoebox gifts.
  • Manage and train a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality control within the warehouse.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of warehouse operations.
  • Monitor and report on warehouse performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a warehouse management or supervisory role.
  • Proven track record of improving efficiency and productivity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.

Working Conditions

This is a seasonal, full-time position that requires a minimum of 40 hours per week, including Saturdays. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, with frequent lifting, bending, and standing.
