Position Summary:

Oppenheimer Asset Management is looking for a Wealth and Advisory Program Associate to enhance their Program Advisory team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and enhancement of advisory programs.
  • Conduct ongoing monitoring of both discretionary and non-discretionary investment advisory platforms.
  • Collaborate with Financial Advisors regarding advisory programs and associated tools.
  • Support technology initiatives, including proposal generation, asset allocation, trading tools, and performance analysis.
  • Coordinate communications from Financial Advisors and clients with OAM Sales and Marketing, contributing to marketing efforts and dissemination of investment themes.
  • Provide essential program management support and training for Financial Advisors.
  • Facilitate communication efforts with third-party providers, investment managers, and fund companies.
  • Maintain and document onboarding procedures for investment vehicles and assist in the share class rationalization process.
  • Regularly update Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Engage with Compliance and Legal teams on various regulatory matters.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or business management.
  • The ideal candidate should be a self-starter with strong work ethic, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Two to five years of experience in wealth management or advisory roles.
  • Demonstrated accuracy and thoroughness in all aspects of work.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a professional environment.

Technical and Licensing Requirements:

  • High proficiency in technology, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
  • Experience with investment screening tools, such as Morningstar, is preferred.
  • Possession of Series 7 or 6 and Series 66 licenses is desirable.

Compensation Information:

For positions in New York City, Oppenheimer is legally required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role. This salary range reflects various factors considered in salary decisions, including skills, qualifications, experience, licensure, certifications, and organizational needs. The current estimated base salary range is $85,000 to $100,000. Additionally, certain roles may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as discretionary bonuses.
