Job Opportunity

Cedar Park Med is seeking a skilled LPN-Licensed Practical Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care in a long-term care facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients with medical and health-related issues
  • Accurately record patient medical history and treatment information in the computer system
  • Monitor patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, and glucose levels
  • Observe patients under treatment to identify progress and potential side effects of medications
  • Provide wound care, administer medications, and collect samples for lab testing as assigned
  • Ensure patients' health and comfort, and advocate for their medical concerns with clinical staff
  • Communicate with patients' family members or friends to provide advice, comfort, and health updates
  • Perform other duties as requested by management

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Familiarity with health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures
  • Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices
  • Valid state LPN license and current BLS certification
