Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst Trust Operations to join our team at Bank of Hawaii. As a key member of our trust operations team, you will be responsible for analyzing, coordinating, and implementing technical solutions to meet the business needs of our trust operations department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate projects to create efficiencies through automation or redesign of current processes.
  • Analyze business needs and develop requirements through interviews with product managers, business units, and trust staff.
  • Oversee the daily management and support of the trust accounting system and other related systems.
  • Ensure systems acceptance testing is completed within department standards.
  • Oversee the work of junior staff and provide direct training, guidance, and mentoring to acquire a thorough knowledge of the department operations and processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited institution in computer science, finance, or accounting, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 5 to 6 years of experience in information technology, finance, accounting, securities, or a related field, or at least 3 years as a Trust Operations Analyst.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with personal computers in a networked environment and Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint), or similar software.
  • Knowledge of or ability to use Bank software and systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and effective writing and verbal communications skills.
