Location DescriptionThe Marriott Phoenix Chandler is a full-service hotel located in the heart of Chandler, Arizona. Our hotel features 264 guest rooms and over 21,000 square feet of event space, making us an ideal choice for business and leisure travelers alike. Within our hotel, you'll find Proof '19, a bar serving handcrafted cocktails and local beers, and Starbucks Café, where you can start your day with a morning pick-me-up.
Job SummaryWe're seeking a part-time M Club Lounge Attendant to join our team. As a member of our hospitality team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests. Your primary duties will include serving food and beverage to guests, engaging them in conversation, and ensuring that every detail of their visit to the M Club Lounge is perfect.
Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Serve food and beverage to guests, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Engage guests in conversation, building rapport and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Monitor the M Club Lounge for seating availability, service, safety, and wellbeing of guests.
- Complete opening and closing duties, maintaining the cleanliness and condition of the lounge.
- Forecast additional meal requirements and communicate special requests to the kitchen.
- Requisition all necessary supplies, transporting them from the storeroom to the lounge as required.
- Document pertinent information in the department logbook.
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management.
- At least 1 year of closely related work experience, including experience servicing customers in a M Club or Concierge lounge or closely related food and beverage establishment.
- Ability to demonstrate tact and discretion in interactions with premium clientele.
- Ability to maintain a presentable and polished appearance in keeping with service standards for premium clientele.
- Ability to work long hours, while standing.
- Possess strong sanitation habits.
- Ability to provide strong customer service.
- Ability to multi-task and interact with customers and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.
