ALPINE EDUCATION SERVICES is seeking dedicated substitute educators who are enthusiastic about fostering a positive learning environment. Daily Responsibilities:

  • Flexible Scheduling: Available Monday to Friday, with hours from 7 AM to 5 PM (options for half days are 7 AM - 12 PM or 12 PM - 5 PM).
  • Execute and adhere to lesson plans provided by the regular teacher to ensure a seamless educational experience.
  • Maintain an effective classroom atmosphere that promotes student engagement and minimizes disruptions.
  • Tailor instructional methods to accommodate the diverse needs of students.
  • Oversee students in various settings, including hallways, playgrounds, and cafeterias.
  • Assign in-class tasks based on the lesson plan provided.
  • For long-term assignments: collaborate with department heads to create lesson plans that align with the regular teacher's curriculum.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of an Associate degree or completion of 60+ college credit hours.
  • Bachelor's degree or teaching certification is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities, fostering positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
  • Capability to lead and instruct students across various age groups.
  • General knowledge across multiple subjects.
  • Ability to implement lesson plans as directed or consult with administrative staff when necessary.
  • Flexibility and critical thinking skills are essential.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful learning environment while fulfilling all responsibilities outlined by the absent teacher.

Compensation: Starting at $90-120 per day based on educational qualifications and teaching credentials.
