Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to join our team at INEOS Composites LLC in Neville Island, PA. As a key member of our operations function, you will be responsible for overseeing production activities, ensuring timely delivery to customers, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interact with customers, customer service representatives, sales representatives, and technical service representatives to ensure on-time delivery to customers.
  • Use the plant scheduling system and SAP to assign production for blend tanks, tank-wagons, and drumming.
  • Create process orders, batch and blend documents, create shipments, etc. in SAP and Advanced Scheduler.
  • Coordinate product shipments with approved carriers and select and coordinate truckload and LTL carrier pick-ups.
  • Provide vacation and illness coverage for Production Supervisors, supervising a workforce of union operators.
  • Help respond and investigate production and quality-related incidents to identify and implement corrective actions.
  • Assist in generating, revising, and training operators on operating procedures.
  • Assist in new employee training, refresher training, and basic safety training.

Requirements:

  • High school education.
  • A minimum of 5 years of production experience in the chemical industry.
  • A strong preference for supervisory experience.
  • Must be willing to work shift work as needed to cover for Production Supervisors.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); MS Access experience a plus.
  • Strong communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills are a must.
  • Applicant must be authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Skills:

  • SAP experience a plus.
  • Strong communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills are a must.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Must be able to handle multiple projects in a timely manner.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
