Job Summary

As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for operating advanced medical imaging equipment, preparing patients for procedures, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnostic Imaging Procedures: Operate and maintain advanced medical imaging equipment, including x-ray machines, CT scanners, and MRI machines.
  • Patient Preparation: Prepare patients for diagnostic imaging procedures, including explaining procedures, positioning patients, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Image Acquisition and Analysis: Acquire and analyze medical images, ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnoses.
  • Patient Care: Provide exceptional patient care, including administering medications, performing laboratory tests, and responding to patient needs.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum one year of experience in diagnostic imaging or related field.
  • Certifications: Current registration and licensure in Radiologic Technology, as well as BCLS (CPR) certification.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in medical imaging software.
Working Conditions

This position requires working in a clinic environment with some exposure to radiation. The physical demands of this position include standing for prolonged periods, lifting patients, and pushing carts.
