The Retail Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring that every customer enjoys not only our delightful doughnuts but also a memorable experience within our stores. Physical Requirements
Prepare for an active work environment Responsibilities include lifting and transporting boxes, decorating and packaging doughnuts, maintaining cleanliness through sweeping or mopping, engaging with customers, processing orders, and handling phone communications. Occasionally, you may need to lift items weighing up to 75 pounds. A valid driver's license is also necessary.
Essential Qualifications
A passion for spreading joy to others is essential. Candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with experience in sales, customer service, and team management. Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor are vital. Completion of some college coursework is preferred.
Customer Service Excellence
As a role model for team members, the Retail Operations Supervisor establishes a welcoming atmosphere that promotes outstanding customer service. You will be adept at resolving challenging situations with customers and ensuring that all products meet the high standards expected by our brand. Maintaining shop organization, answering phone inquiries, and liaising with support teams are also key responsibilities.
Sales Leadership
Collaborate closely with the General Manager to meet business objectives and enhance profitability. You will assist in driving sales initiatives, which may include promotional events, retail sales, fundraising efforts, and suggestive selling techniques.
Production Management
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency in daily doughnut production while adhering to quality control protocols. You will be responsible for coordinating production schedules to ensure customer satisfaction and will regularly inspect equipment for maintenance needs.
Health and Safety Standards
Uphold cleanliness and safety within the shop as a top priority. This includes ensuring proper footwear, maintaining clean floors, and overall shop hygiene.
Team Development
Assist the General Manager with recruitment, hiring, training, and other personnel needs. You will supervise shifts and exemplify strong leadership qualities.
Financial Oversight
Support the General Manager in managing financial aspects, including income and expense budgets, as well as reporting on sales and other critical metrics.
