Job Overview: The Restoration Cleaning Specialist plays a crucial role in the recovery process by effectively cleaning and restoring properties affected by fire, smoke, water, mold, and other damages. This position involves meticulous cleaning of affected areas and the careful handling of client belongings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough and efficient cleaning of structural components.
  • Manage the packing and unpacking of property contents, including furniture, clothing, and household items.
  • Conduct inspections and cleaning of designated structural areas as per the project scope.
  • Maintain detailed inventory lists of all items removed from the job site.
  • Ensure that all contents are restored to their pre-damage condition.
  • Leave the work area tidy by removing all cleaning supplies upon completion.
  • Handle client belongings with care to prevent any loss or damage.
  • Utilize appropriate cleaning techniques, tools, and supplies.
  • Adhere to all established cleaning protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in cleaning and restoration is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Effective communication and professionalism.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force regularly, and/or 30 pounds frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds constantly.
  • Capability to ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and scaffolding.
  • Maintain balance in various situations.
  • Push, pull, and carry tools and materials as needed.
  • Stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl as required.
  • Stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Coordinate movements effectively with hands, eyes, and feet.
  • Possess good vision and hearing to ensure safety.
