Hurst Autoplex Career Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Used Car Technician to join our team at Hurst Autoplex. This is a full-time, hourly position with opportunities for individual growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform thorough vehicle inspections to identify maintenance or repair needs
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and engine issues on pre-owned vehicles
  • Complete necessary maintenance services, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake replacements
  • Perform body, paint, and interior repairs as needed
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure vehicles meet quality standards
  • Keep detailed records of work performed and parts used
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Adhere to safety and quality standards
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience as an automotive technician, preferably in a dealership setting
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, including mechanical, electrical, and engine
  • Experience with body, paint, and interior repairs on various makes and models
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
