Pit Technician Specialist

Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pit Technician Specialist to join our team. Job Summary:

The Pit Technician Specialist is responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers by performing routine maintenance tasks, such as lubricating cars and inspecting vehicles for additional repairs. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work well in a team environment.

• Perform routine maintenance tasks: Lubricate cars, inspect vehicles for additional repairs, and perform multi-point inspections.
• Provide excellent customer service: Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions.
• Work collaboratively with the team: Collaborate with service consultants and technicians to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment: Ensure a safe and clean workspace for all employees and customers.

Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance desired but not required.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance: Familiarity with routine maintenance tasks and ability to learn new skills quickly.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Valid driver's license: Required for on-the-job training and travel to off-site locations.
• Customer-focused attitude: Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
• Ability to work well in a team environment: Collaborative and flexible team player.

Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, and bending: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent movement.

Exerting 50-100 lbs of force occasionally and/or 10-25 lbs of force frequently and/or greater than 10 lbs of force constantly: Ability to lift and move objects safely.

Requires working at a production rate pace: Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
