We are seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to join our team at the Campbell Soup Company. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production activities of the Bakery Department and ensuring the highest quality products are delivered to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the work of non-exempt associates in a manufacturing environment, ensuring that production schedules are met and quality standards are maintained.
- Implement policies and procedures to improve production methods, processes, and working conditions, and recommend improvements to management.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of direct reports, and conduct on-the-job training for new hires and transferred associates.
- Use continuous improvement techniques to improve production methods, yield, equipment performance, and quality of product, and support all plant safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist Product Manager and other Supervisors in improving production control, standard operating procedures, safety, quality control, performance management, and coordination of activities within the department and other supporting departments.
- Ensure effective associate relations, provide coaching and development, and make employment decisions, resolving associate issues through problem resolution.
- Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale to achieve positive results in all areas, and work to continuously improve in all areas.
- Minimum education: High school degree or GED and 3+ years of previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Preferred education: Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of previous experience in a food manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge, skills, and abilities required: ability to improve working conditions, develop direct reports, coordinate on-the-job training, use continuous improvement techniques, and balance quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale.
The Campbell Soup Company offers a competitive salary range of $57,475.00 - $92,530.00, as well as comprehensive health, dental, 401k, and wellness benefits. We are an equal opportunity employer and are committed to providing a diverse and inclusive work environment.
